An impressive four USB ports are part of the standard equipment, plus Bluetooth. On select models, the 2022 Equinox adds wireless device charging.
Navigation is available, along wtih two extra USB ports. The RS and Premier models also gain an extra speaker, bringing their total up to seven. Exclusive to the top trim is a 120-volt power outlet.
The Equinox is spacious for both gear and passengers. This SUV has two rows and seating for five. While adults will find plenty of head and legroom in the backseat, it would be best not to try to stick three of them back there for another other than a short journey. Three children should have no problem sitting back there, though. When it comes to cargo space, there are nearly 30 cubic feet behind the second row. Folding down that back row is relatively easy, and it gives the driver just under 64 cubic feet. The RS trim level has a power liftgate, while the Premier takes it to the next level with a hands-free version. The Equinox LS has lane-keeping assist and forward-collision mitigation standard. There is also a rear-seat reminder, which is intended to get drivers to double-check their backseat before exiting their vehicle.
Starting with the LT model, drivers can choose to add a package that includes parking sensors and blind-spot monitoring.
